Day Eleven – Getting Fit

So often I bite off more than I can chew, and today is no exception.

I am very excited for how my house is turning out. There is so much work to be done, but I am happy about the progress that is being made and my method for tackling new projects using my trusty Bullet Journal habit tracker.

Now my husband I have been discussing our finances and physical states. I have mentioned before how I have successfully lost the baby weight and am looking toward getting into a good at home exercise routine. I have downloaded Rachel Aust's 8 week training program from Eat Run Lift and put it onto my habit tracker to do.

Next, I bought Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover Workbook, which arrived today.

We have worked through the first 2 chapters today and we're surprised to find out we are in a little better shape than we thought, but that's probably because we have lived off of a type of plan similar to Dave Ramsey's.

The biggest issue with both of these things is accountability and dedication. Both of these issues are ones that I have waffled on staying on track with and I would love to learn how to dedicate myself to these goals of becoming financially and physically fit.

I truly feel that minimalism works towards all aspects of life to remove the unnecessary and instead to focus on what I love and need. I also feel that it joins itself to a biblical principle that I have aspired to live up to, which can be found in Proverbs 31. This chapter discusses a woman who is financially wise and cares for her family with love and dedication, providing them with good food and good clothes. I am striving to become that and will be sharing my journey as I work with Dave Ramsey's book, and workout, as well as caring for my home to make a peaceful and joyful atmosphere.

I am apprehensive about trying to change so much of my life so fast, but these three things are so important to me and are the things I am consistently working on. I hope that by sharing my journey I can be held more accountable and stay on track to my goals.
